The photographs shown on this page will either make you laugh or wonder. There I was with 30lbs of camera gear trekking through the Niagara escarpment when I encountered this rock that became worthy of some attention.
Then the following summer after travelling by boat to the world famous Boldt Castle located in Gananoque (1000 Islands). I shot this picture of a doorway. The story behind Boldt castle is that Mr.Boldt built this as a monument to show the love and passion he felt for his wife. Sadly, she passed away before its completion. Becoming heartbroken, he left it unfinished where it still stands today (50+yrs later) as an international tourist attraction.
After shooting a variety of shots, I developed the doorway shot seen on the upper right. What haunted me about this picture is the skeleton that appears lodged in the rock.
